Subject:  Re: Rubber band tracks.... their future?List thread.

Well, I have a SU-76M that now can be called "Shelf Queen" because of its link-to-link tracks. I've done some (they're around 180) and I just can't finish... serioulsy. While I don't like much rubber tracks, they're the easy way for certain tanks, except for those that require a natural sag (i.e. Panzer III, IV, Tiger, T-34, T-55, etc)
I've used link and length on some kits and I'm happy with them (except that some are just as awful), but completely hate individual links.
In my opinion rubber tracks should disappear in favor of something better, but at the moment I have no idea what we could call "better".

Juan

(now thinking to build a diorama of partially buried SU-76M :D
