One of my all-time favorite has to be AFV Club's M18!

On the lower left corner of the box is this big flash reading "Patton Armored Division", with the Tank Destroyer Command patch right in the middle.

Now as far as I know, Patton did not command an armored division in WWII (at least not overseas). As a matter of fact, I believe he was quite critical of the Tank Destroyer concept.
