I have a different approach than most people here regarding vinyl tracks vs indy links. I donīt care for sag as much as for the kind of track depicted: I donīt mind continous vinyl tracks if the track is made of pads with end connectors -like in shermans and most modern western tanks- as I think this type of tracks can be depicted really well this way as the space between the pads can be accurately depicted whereas in the other type of tracks -like in the Tiger, panzer IV, T-55, etc, the only way you can realistically depict, IMHO, the space between the links are workable individual links, like Friuls or Model Kasten for example.

That is the reason I really donīt like the vinyl tracks of Dragonīs shermans as they donīt include the empty space between the pads, so Iīm going to replace them in my Sherman III with MK items. At eight parts for every link I think it will be quite funny!

But I like a lot the rubber band tracks in my Challenger 2 from Tamiya and in Tascaīs Firefly. Surely indy tracks would give better detail, but for me itīs not worth the work.

Regards
