Summer is usually a slow modeling time for me because my sons stay up later and therefore I get down to "Matt's world" later. I try to model about an hour a night.
I spent most of June building Tamiya's P-47d Razorback. Currently, my workspace is gutted to make room for "Matt's World v.2" This will be done this weekend with more counter space and improved lighting.
Then I will get back to it and finish up some things for the MMSI show in October:
1) Stalingrad vignette with Tamiya German Soldiers in Winter gear and a wrecked Opel
2) John Rosencrant figure of a Sturmbahnfuhrer (my first larger scale figure)
3) A small vignette featuring a Feld Polezei officer from New World Miniatures
All projects are about 50% finished, but they represent my first serious attempt at figure painting. |
