Well, the weather has been wonderfull here in western Oregon, as usual for the summer, so I have plenty of outdoor stuff that needs to be done on the house and yard (4 acres).
But as far as models go, I am trying to finish a M4 HST which is getting close. Otherwise its a summer of shelf queens. I am redoing the old Acadamy Wirbelwind for a dio I have planned. Replaced the barrels, added zim, added some Voyager brass fenders and some Academy aftermarked individual tracks (nothing special, but oh so cheap).
Also, with all the hoopla over the Tirstar and DML Brumbar, I got out my old Tamiya Brumbar that has been sitting 90% finished for YEARS and have started adding Zim to it. Then I just picked up some MK tracks. Will do something with the fenders (havnt decided yet) and will have to find some tools and such.
Also, have the Eastern Express KV-14 pretty well along. Doing a lot of scratch built and detail to this. Scratch built some brass fenders. Will use the tracks off the new Tamiya JS-2 on this. This is a neat project that I am enjoying.... just not getting much time one.
And finially, last night I got out my M4A3 Colliope project and was looking at it again... need/want to get re-started on that too.
Too many models, too little time. |
