I live in Seoul Korea and kits here, depending on the country of origin, are for the most part 10 - 50% cheaper than back in the States. Academy is by far the cheapest (about 15,000 to 20,000 won ($1 is about 1,000 won) for most 1/35th scale armor, even the newest releases) with Trumpeter and Dragon not far behind - I just picked up a KV-1 from Trumpeter for 18,000 won = $18). Tamiya and Hasagawa are the most expensive while Italeri, Revell Germany, and others occupy a place somewhere in the middle... Overall way cheaper than the States, though. Happy Modelling.
