With the (sometimes) doom and gloom messages posted about kids not getting into the hobby and it dying out I thought it might be an interesting mental exercise to discuss what we'd do if the unthinkable happened. If there were no more tanks model kits produced, the hobby "died" out, then what would you do?
Collect stamps? Play video games? Start building your "stash"?
Personally I don't think this would happen, not for a 100 years at least. Not even then actually. If one looks back in history we can see that people always built models. However...
I think the resin kit market would still survive and perhaps grow. There would still be modellers who would build these and more modellers would scratch-build.
And don't say you'd switch to aeroplanes :-)
