Hi
I think for many if they stopped producing kits tomorrow it would mean they'd just have to start building all those ones stashed in the attic/loft/cupboards and that they'd still not run out of kits to make in their lifetime ;~)
I don't think modelling will ever disappear, but just as it has in the past new materials, new ways of doing things will come about.
I doubt if I'd go in for modelling tanks etc. on the computer as relaxation and a hobby, as somebody else suggested, as I design and model in 3D as a career.
I guess I'd have to get on with all those jobs around the house and garden I never seem to have time for.
