Personally I have enough in the stash to keep me going until the next century.
For me though I would divert my attention to ship and sci-fi modelling. I cannot see a time in the near future when kits are not going to be produced, but what I think will happen is that, with the rising price of oil, raw materiels, and the impact on people's disposable income, the hobby will contract. As Paul says you may see more wood, resin and white metal kits with a spattering of plastic parts, who knows.

I am already seeing this personally in that more of my wage is going in paying bills and living costs leaving me less to spend on my hobby. Dragon kits have just gone up by about £10 in the UK this year alone, so I have stopped buying kits on a whim and am just going for those now that I will actually build.

Assuming that I built all my stash and every single plastic kit on eBay disappeared then I would always have house DIY and the Playstation to keep me occupied.

Graham
