Simple question: What are your top five favourite kits?

Mine are, in order:

1. Tasca Luchs: I love the subject, the kit is excellent and it is fun to build and detail.

2. Tasca Firefly: I like the subject, the kit is excellent, better that their Luchs, and I am having fun building it too. I prefer the "cast in cheek armour" version for subject matter, "CAROLE" specifically.

3. DML Sd.Kfz.234/1: I like this vehicle a lot too. The kit is pretty good and I have researched it well. I plan to build this after I finish the two above. I have collected a lot of after-market items for this project... because I enjoy using after-market stuff a lot too.

4. Tamiya Hetzer (1/35th scale): While the kit is good it does provide the basis for a good super-detailing project. It can be converted to other versions too. I also like the subject a lot.

5. Tamiya Krupp Protze: This is my favourite "old school" kit. I like the subject and the kit is not bad. It is a good project to scratch-build details on.

*. What? No Tristar kits Paul? Well I do like them but the current subjects are not among my favourites... yet ;-)

This is one of those "getting to know you" topics. Please participate, maybe it will also give other modellers ideas on what to build next, etc.

Paul.
