Al,

I really like the sculpting on the Madagascar Pirate bust and my best friend Chris Barrett painted up one the year before. That inspired me to first purchase the bust. When I decided to paint it I wanted to do something than just a pirate. It was a popular bust at figure shows. I took a long look at the face and he seemed a bit sad. Being a big Packer fan and remembering all those games against Tampa when they were both in the same division got me thinking. A pirate bust, Bucs fans and it just all fell together. I did have to do a bit of on-line research to match the colors and get the calligraphy correct. It was a lot of fun. At one point I was thinking getting 31 more and making disgruntteled fans for every NFL team. That's yet to happen though.
