Ed, that is funny, because I feel the exact same way, but haven't built any
of the kits listed! The general consensus seems to be that Tamiya is
over-all better, and I don't know, maybe, they are sure easier! But I
definitely have a place in my heart for Dragon. I came into the hobby a
year ago (at 30 yrs old!) and since then, I have loved every DML kit I've
done. My personal favorites (which is just about every one I've done):
Stug IIIf w/ostketten
The ENTIRE 250 series started with the 250/11, working on the 253, and about
to start the 250/9 NEU. Man I love those Half-tracks.
Hetzer
PzIV Late
And soon to be the PzIIIj
THese are all great kits, and if I had one (model related) wish, it would be
for all hobby stores to be amply stocked with all DML kits, especially the
Jagdtiger!
Just my thoughts...
