Well there are two new war films shown 'this week at the Toronto film fest.
The first is a Canadian epic called Passchendaele about a Canadian soldier in WW1[but it does have a love story]
The other is a fictional story of Black troops in Italy in WW2,called Miracle at St'Anna[by Spike Lee]
Why they cant make a TRUE film about what a great job,Black American soldiers did in WW2 is beyond me...but then,I'm not Spike Lee.
Any way, a couple of film's to look forward too. |
