Hello,

I for one am looking forward to "click-link" tracks. Anvil miniatures
produced them before going out of production. I have not tried them, but
from what I hear, they seem to be very easy assemble. How about having big
companies like Tamiya/DML/Academy adopt "click-link" tracks and watch the
smaller ones follow suit.

I also would love to see some inexpensive simplified kits for newcomers. I
am not talking about motorized toys, but rather kits that are simple enough
for a newbie to finish quickly (not snap together types) and have enough
details to placate the old guards. These kits should have:

1. Rubber band tracks (for newbies).
2. Simplified assembly and smaller scale 1:48.
3. Simple paint schemes.
4. Enough variety to capture people's attention (modern vehicles perhaps?)
5. Masks for painting wheels and camo.
6. One piece gun barrels, no sanding needed.
7. They cannot be re-releases of old kits (ie.: Tamiya).
8. Inexpensive!

Something like what Revell/Monogram is doing with their "beginner's"
pre-painted airplane kits. Except these should not be pre-painted!

Without newcomers, our hobby could be on decline. It is getting very
expensive! How about some bait to get some new blood into the ranks? ;^)

Don't mean to rant! Sorry.

Cheers!
