A number of suggestions about including aftermarket items like PE or barrels
with kits seem like something that retailers could do. Otherwise, if
manufacturers include them the base price of a kit would be out of the range
of many younger modelers and may turn off those who can live without these
extras. Squadron has been offering some great deals on airplane kits they
package with aftermarket extras, often including one of their "In Action"
books in the mix. They should try this approach with AFVs as well.

What I'd like to see . . .

- Return of the multipose figures. It's an innovation from 30 years ago
that many figure builders want to see again.

- Printed sheet backgrounds for dioramas -- rural, urban, damaged, pristine,
etc.

- Include additional rivets and bolts on a kit sprue as the norm. DML has
done this with a few of their kits. It would be nice to have them included
all the time to add to places where the designers weren't able to include
them because of molding considerations. Directions should indicate where
they should be placed. This additional feature wouldn't raise the price of
a kit.

Apart from the "back to the future" request for multipose, these aren't very
BIG innovations. Maybe we've hit a wall?
