I guess hobby shops are a good way to "keep the pulse" of the hobby.
London is a desert modelshopwise and it's a huge metropolis :-(
Also many shops are closing in France, especially in smaller towns.
Modelling might be thriving in Asia, but elsewhere I have serious doubts.
