I'd like to see the whole Stuart family done too!
And those late pattern roadwheels bode well!
As for folks trashing the kit, I saw one misguided thread on ML, and otherwise
everyone loves the kit. Terry Ashley certainly did, despite finding a visible
error in the wheels. Of course, on that wee tank with a bit of weathering, I'm
not sure how visible it will be.
I started my kit the other night. I didn't get much done, there were some
serious seam lines on some running gear parts that I tidied up. The kit looks
great, I keep ogling the sprues, which makes my wife look at me like I'm an
alien! ;-)
I have a question about the indy links. On my set, one side of the tracks has a
thicker rubber pad than the other, that is the moulding of the pad looks deeper
on one surface than on the other. Were these treads reversible? If not, which
is the right side out?
Other than the turret basket, what other changes to the kit are needed to make
a relatively accurate desert Honey? I'm not out to buy any extra bits (see
cheapo modeller comments above!), but Academy includes lots of extra parts, and
I want to be sure to include all the right stuff. We're in temporary digs right
now, so my references are all in storage.
