A friend of mine owns a "play farm" (read tax write-off) and has a
similar model. I go up now and then and help brush-hog the place back
into civilization. I concurr that the machine is really not rusty at
all. Likewise, the seat, foot-boards, and control levers have lost only
minimal paint. The worst is on the mower deck skids that continuosly rub
against the ground, and they are bright steel color.
It was purchased fully restored about 5 years ago and has been heavily
used.
By the way, don't you just love the top-heavy, tip over at any moment
feel of the Farmall?!
