Hmmm, this would explain why some 'real' Kübelwagens I see have the 'in the
weeds' ground clearance. They must be replicas that don't modify the VW
Beetle suspension to get the proper Kübelwagen ground clearance. Using a VW
Bus tranny and swing axles would raise the rear end and then the front
torsion tubes would just have to be cut, rotated down and welded to raise
the front end.

Still kool though, love to have one.
