Hello Tim,
I actually drove there, which that was a mistake as they had closed the
Blackwall Tunnel that day, so the Woolwich Ferry had a two hour delay! On a
good day it takes me 30/40 minutes.
The best way to get there by public transport from central London is on the
Jubilee Line, it's a short bus ride or a reasonable walk.
I think there must still be some equipment at the Rotunda, notably the large
Soviet(?) gun.
