Adam,
I'd pass on the Sherman roadwheels and the reportedly poor (there was a
Military Modelling article) BT-7s, T44 is only game in town and maybe worth
buying. Same for Tetrach and Matilda I. AA kits are often a bit tough to build
with their average resin tracks and white metal parts, I think the Matilda I is
only for very experienced builders with a good dose of patience.
The T34/100 and T34/122 look nice but some people say they are not quite 1/35
scale, I don't know you'd have to check the real ones and make measurements.
If I had to pick just a couple in your list I'd choose T-44 and T-34/122 which
should be easier.
If you get mismoulded/faulty parts don't hesitate to ask AA direct for
replacements, they will send you replacements very quick. However their quality
controlhave improved tremendously in recent years, it's just if you get a kit
from old stock...
Also based on my experience don't start stockpiling kits, buy one, build it
than buy another one, otherwise you'll end up having an attic and two other
rooms full of unbuilt models ;-)
Cheers,
Christophe |
