Roberto, your Sherman fix...

This is quite a detailed 7-page article covering a M4A4 of the Royal Deccan Horse (9th Cavalry Regiment) Sherman written by Peter Heath. Using the new tooling DML Firefly kit, it appears to be a straightforward conversion, using mostly the kit parts and some parts from the good old spares box. The Sherman’s used by Indian armoured regiments of the British XIV army have had little coverage, this goes a long way to address this little known history of the Sherman and its operations in the Burma theatre. The real nice aspect of this particular variation is the use of angle iron frames and wire mesh found on these Sherman’s, that makes for something different. A good article on an unusual subject.
