Osprey's Men at Arms volume, Arab Armies of the Middle East Wars. I think it covers from 1948 through 1980 or so.
Other books like Concord's Battleground Lebanon have great Ron Volstad plastes of various Syrian, Israeli, PLO, etc. forces from a little later date as well as tons of photos. |
