Can anyone recommend an excellent WWII PC game? I surfed Amazon and read
several reviews on Microsoft's "WWII Combat Flight Sim," "Ilyushin IL2," and
"Medal of Honor." IL2 and MOHAA were given great reviews but how is the
"fun factor" and replay value in those games?
(I played "Ghost Recon and GR Desert Siege" at Veteran and Elite level
without cheating but the reviews on the GR "Cuba Expansion Disc" seem to say
Cuba is too hard---probably "work."
Jane's "WWII Fighters" was also too hard to have any fun whatsoever. I
really enjoyed GR but now it just gets boring since always playing as a
sniper is the easiest way to win that game).
I'm pretty seasoned in WWII flight sims and first-person shooters but am
looking for something with a lot more fun than Jane's and Ghost Recon.
Unfortunately with my 56K modem, I can't download any demos. Any
recommendations welcome.
