I agree, it was a very fun game, especially as the Germans since the Allies
were weak in the airdrop. Not only that, with hours of gameplay, one feels
like they accomplished something. Best of all, the surviving equipment gets
carried to the next mission in the campaign (correct me if I'm wrong).
In fact, I had an on/ off interest in "Close Combat 3" and above.
But as reviewers said, "It's a great game if you're winning, but a horrible
game if you're losing." As such, I just never bit the bullet. It's cheap
price so I'll look into this one too.
Plenty of time before Christmas to make a decision ;-).
