Hi Andy,
Back in '92 I visited a friend in Moncton, NB after they received a total of
240cm over a couple of weeks. Halifax had something like 160cm from those
same storms. Some pretty impressive snow banks. Snowmobilers heaven.
I hear Albany is supposed to get the worst of it in N.Y. with 50cm (~20in)
from this storm. Halifax is supposed to get 30-35cm.
Rochester? Don't you love that lake effect snow!! :-) I just look out my
window (24th floor in Toronto) for an unobstructed view across Lake Ontario
and see N.Y.'s weather. I get to see some pretty cool summer thunderstorms
over your way as well. Neat to see the clouds lighting up like in 'Close
Encounters of the Third Kind" when the mothership is coming down.
