The T-54/55/62 have their own unique "dead" pin track that is more reminisent of W.W. II tracks. The T-72 has a newer "live" track that is under tension and should have little or no sag. Rebuilt, upgraded T-55 tanks (like the horrible Skif kit) could be fitted with the T-72 track. Of course the sprockets are different, too.

The Kasten 55/62 tracks should, in theory fit. They are probably designed for the Esci 55 or old Tamiya 62 so I don't know about the Tamiya sprockets.

Armor Track has some nice plastic workable links with resin sprockets, and Friul has really good metal link tracks, too.
