Hi Gian,
It really depends if you're after a starter kit that's just fun and easy to build, or you if want something that's accurate and true to the real vehicle. If it's the latter then I strongly recommend NOT going for the old Tamiya Panther A or Italeri Panther A kints. I bought the old Tamiya kit some years back, before I knew any better, and it took a phenomenal amount of scratch-building and loads of aftermarket kits to make it look anywhere near decent - a very expensive and time consuming operation in the long run!
A little bit of extra money spent on any of the more recent Tamiya Panther G kits (I haven't seen the new Dragon Panther kits as yet!)would be well worth it. Even built 'straight out of the box', these kits scrub-up reasonably well.
cheers
