Yes, you can use the checkout feature to complete your transaction and
never have a direct communication with the seller. The checkout does
allow you to send a message to the seller when you check out. Depending
on the information entered by the seller, checkout should tell you the
shipping amount, cost of insurance if you that, the bid total, and the
sellers mailing address. If all the information you need is not listed,
then send your inquiry to the seller in the message box when you check
out.

Many people do not like the automatic check out feature, including me,
but it allows the larger volume sellers to sell items without having a
lot of time tied up in sending payment information to bidders via
e-mail.
