Interesting developement in the war, these air ID panels. They don't look to be too elaborate. Does anyone have any info on them. How do they function exactly. Are they merely some kind of passive reflector for the night vision equipment? Are they electrical in any way? Where are they generaly located on armour, and other vehicles. Do all units really have them? Interesting that it seems any US vehicles modeled from this war will include them. Nuances abound I am sure, just what we like to study.
