| Subject: | Sci-fi the DPV! | |

Hi Stavros,
Sorry to hear about your AEF problems for I too had the same issues. The DML "Weapons Set" was OOP but some came and Tony Englehart included it and didn't charge me for it and I give him kudos for that.
However, the AEF DPV has so many fit and casting problems that there's no way to make a DPV anyway.
I already emailed Tony Englehart in 2000 with info about how to make an accurate DPV (as said in my review). The rest is up to him. There's almost no way of obtaining blueprints from Chenowth since this is a Spec Forces vehicle.

My advice: Sci-Fi the DPV. What you need is a 1/25 car or truck kit. I replaced the engine and made rollbars based off dimensions of the Motorbooks US Navy SEALs photo on page 96. The AMT "Show Off Hauler Superset" is the car kit I used and the 1950s roadster works wonders. All the coil springs, engine, and axles can from the truck kit.

AEF no longer sells the DPV, and for good reasons.
