Unless it was filled with infected body fluids. If you read the data on the
WHO web site, there has not been ONE case of someone infected this way.
Besides, how often does a model kit arrive within 24 hours from Asia?
Within the past month, I have received multiple boxes from Mainland China,
Hong Kong, Singapore [my sister lives there], Taiwan, and Korea. Each box
was "manhandled" severely; opened, emptied, cleaned of packing materials,
broken down, and either cut up for trash, or added to the recycle bin for
re-use. So, if SARS was ANYWHERE in, or on those boxes, I would be sick
right now. Maybe dead.
I think that speaks volumes.
