| Subject: | been gone for a while, now i have a bunch of questions... | |
| Date: | May 21, 2003 |

i've been out of modeling for about three years now and now i want to get back into it but i'm a little rusty... so, i have a few questions (they're not all armor related, so please bare with me...)
first: painting figures and faces with oils- can you guys point me towards some websites/articals/resorces that will help refresh my memory? right now i have a bunch of medevil figures that i want to finish along with a bunch of ww2 figures...
second: how can i 'un-paint' a plastic kit? I started Acadamy's Tiger w/ the interior and Tamiya's strumtiger long before i was ready for them and they need to have the paint striped and redone.
third: tools. what do i need? i have: some exacto knives, small files, putty (tube kind), twezers and an air brush. what else do i need?
forth: speaking of airbrushes, how do they work again?
fifth: so what's new and earth shattering (since about 2000) releases in armor/figures... i'm mostly intrested in allied ww/2 armor, modern russian /bulkans/chechnya, figures from medevil periods and ww2-present
sixth: is there any one from London On. out there? dose LMPS (I think thats what they were called) still meet?
peace,
Mike McGregor. |
