London was my model center only cause my sister in law lived down the street from cry havoc. I tried to get the owner to send me an order up north (I'm about 12hrs north) but he refused first cause I was under 200 bucks. Then I upped the offer to around $500 and he did not repy. I went down to talk to him and he said his stock was low and could not fill my order. Two weeks later he was out of buisness too bad cause he was fairly knowledgeable modler and not a salesman selling you desert storm figures with a Sherman. I told my sister in law to keep on the look out for London area model competitions but for the last two years, none that I know about.
This site has therefore become my model club and the net my store. |
