GMWS is not the only site w/that problem. I don't understand why
anybody would not update their site especially concerning inventory status.
If you are going to make inventory status a part of your website's features
then keep it updated - it's that simple. I had an experience w/another
on-line hobby shop where they shipped an item that I expected to be
backordered and backordered an item the site said was in stock. ? The
day my order arrived their site still said the backordered item was "in
stock". Had I known that, I would have ordered other things that I skipped
over because their site said "out of stock" because it was obvious to me at
that time that their "availability status" meant nothing. Another on-line
hobby shop had the problem of showing items that were no longer available
(discontinued) - why are they still there? I inquired about a couple items
to which I was given the reply of "these are all discontinued" I felt like
saying - well why don't you take them off then? I understand the whole
notion of "stock, subject to prior sale" but have enough sense to remove
discontinued items from your available inventory list and if you're going to
feature some sort of availability feature then keep it up to date or lose
it.

heard
enough whining? -Alex Hodges

half-a-month. Now, the status is still "Still Ordering...".

longer being carried. But it still says "Special Order 100%" on the website.
I cancelled my order.
