The "economic" forces that drive up the price of a model on E-bay... having very little to do with logic or reality...

My point was that most modelers just don't look to the older kits as being very good in terms of quality... The kits that I listed and that others listed from Italeri are all awesome models... even by today's high standards.

I was not willing to part with $60 on Ebay to get one... but I did spend $30 for a Kangaroo and the 105 kit (Which of course is why the kit finally got re-released:))

The fact is that no one ever seems to actually build these kits. Very few of them are displayed on the net and most of them have not seen a model magazine since the hey day of "Military Modeler".

The Skybow kits are also in this category.. though.. because they are new... some of them were actually built/reviewed in recent issues of magazines.

Later,
Tim
