| Subject: | DON'T use a petroleum based paint or thinner | |

Only use acrylics as a petroleum based paint (enamel & lacquer) will attack
the vinyl. Just like gasoline and oil spills attack and weakens the asphalt
in your driveway.
Tamiya has been using the same tire material on their automotive kits for
decades with no problems. I have 1/12 F1 kits close to 30 years old and the
tires are just fine.
