I think I know which chap you mean, he was near the entrance welcoming visitors on Friday. I noticed the lack of TOGs too, I presume he will acquire one/replicate it.
I actually got to go around the American field this time but had to miss the militia field because of it and I was there for 8 hours. Next year I am hoping to have purchased my third compactflash card for my digital camera as my current range of 300 photographs only covered some of the vehicles present at the show.
It was good to see less "glamorous" vehicles such as a Haulamatic 615 dumper (British Army) and a Foden Artillery Limber toward the rear of the site. Perhaps next year I may take a tent and camp there, though the cost goes up to £30 for camping on the weekdays.

P.S. Did you look at Accurate Armours stand? Nice to see all those models I cant afford in the flesh :) |
