Hi Andrew,
Tamiya tracks in recent kits (including your Cromwell) are actually flexible plastic so your regular plastic cement will work, let them dry thoroughly before you attempt to put the tracks on the suspension and don't use too cement much though as this would weaken the tracks and possibly break them... This happened to me on a Tamiya Panzer IV :-( You can also glue the
tracks to the top of the roadwheels to replicate sag. Plastic cement will glue together flexible track and plastic wheels , no problem.
Older Tamiya kits have vinyl tracks which can be "soldered" together with the "heated screwdriver" method.
Cheers,
Christophe

The instructions indicate you use some Tamiya contact adhesive to glue them to the wheels to give some sag. Will any glue work here, or do I need to find some special Tamiya glue? I'm sure someone out there must occasionally use the kit's vinyl tracks?
