Hi John,

I've learned through hard experience that in the US "Renaissance Fair" or "Renaissance Festival" is a euphemism for drink, wear stupid
'historical' outfits, and charge outrageous prices for entry, food etc.

We blew $40 Saturday going to the Sterling Rennaisance Festival. Blech.

I'll have to beware, and look for the key word "reenactment" in the future!!!!

Of course, I'd like to see a Glastonbury festival with tanks...
