Simon,

Sounds more like a problem with the paint that you have. I mean, if you heat up the spray can, before it blows up, the thinner can escape and the pigment can staffer inside the can. HEnce change the basic formulation that you wanted.

Being that you used Tamiya paint, get soem oven cleaner, spray and wait a couple of minutes, then wash. Note do not let the oven cleaner stay on too long as it will attack the plastic. Once dry, restart with new paint. Get a buddy to buy ya some fresh stuff after you give him money.
