yes i agree, i was concentrate on the question about rust there or not. I think the way from the engine to exhaust is that short and the heat gave any paint there only a little chance. But orange maybe isn`t the right color for that. In my opinion orange for rust is only on useless parts visible(mmh. on a tank?where?).
If the tank stand still for one or two weeks and engine not running in that time, maybe exhaust orange. But as far as i know in war tanks never stand still such time without running engine from time to time. On my models i try to find a color for the exhaust that looks a little like wet rust, means a lot darker.
