It's really worse than the tracks, although they are a good start. The
entire running gear assembly barely works. You are going to have to do some
serious cutting, and fitting to get the darn thing to sit flat. The rest of
the kit goes together, well like an early Verlinden kit. Many times, you
will be tempted to throw it against the nearest wall. But back in the
Dinosaur age, it was the only game in town.
The Accurate kit was a better kit, but also had problems with the running
gear. One additional thing the Accurate Armour kit had, was a better turret.
It even had a rudimentary interior.
Given that you can get the ICM "Luchs" kit for under $10.00, might I suggest
going a different way. Build the ICM kit, and use parts from the Verlinden
kit for detailing.
I think you would end up MUCH happier! |
