Hi Tim and welcome to the Hobby of making AFV's it can be fun and it can be
frustrating? It all depends on what you are wanting to do in the hobby on
where you will go? I would suggest since you say you are new to the Hobby
that you start with an easy build kit and do it out of the box. My
suggestion for this kit would be the Tamiya Cromwell or the Centaur as
either kit literally falls together and makes an impressive looking model!
LAter you can start adding P/E and Resin conversions and scratch builds, but
for a first project I don't think you could go wrong with the Tamiya
offerings of these two tanks.
