Tim, hello again

The discusion are drift away a little bit from your question about AOL, MSN and Yahoo...... i will follow that drift.
If i understand you right, you have allready built/paint many models and know how to manage it.
You are only new in the armour section and like to look forward to learn build models with super detailing to make the"best".
Personly i understand your interest on building armour perfect....means as real as it could made.
Everyone has his own opinion about the stuff that it takes to creat it.
I tell you my way:
Go and get you a good kit(Tamiya or Dragon new one).
Try to build everything as good as you can with the plastic parts you find in the box. For example new tamiya kits, if you really go in to it, you will find out, it is nearly all well done. Look on Books, Websites or modeler gallerys and find out what parts on the kit need a corection cause it is impossible to made it in plastic. If you try that you will see, it is not that much need to change on the kit.
My opinion: You don`t need all the expensive stuff you can get on the market to build a good tank. You need good hands, good tools and good ideas.
Try out to work as "best" as you can first and if you find the borders of a plastic kit than come back and ask about PE parts or something special for a concret project you work on.
Someone said "learning by doing" thats right.

Best regards

Hartmut
