I only buy AEF at shops, as I can inspect the content before buying.
I still regret buying the AEF T-55 M6 conversion 2 weeks ago. There are lots of bubbles, flash, and blemishes. Some of the parts are apparently unusable. But I think the turret, skirts, new wheels and front armour are okay. So I took it.
Later I found out the wheels are too small. They are T72 ones. So the only things I would be using are the turret, front armour, and the skirt. All of them require some works.
This kit comes with a 125mm barrel that you know it is wrong at the first sight - it is much much smaller than a 100mm one!
And this kits is more expensive than a CMK T55 AM2 conversion set, which gives you triple the number parts and of excellent quality.
Instruction is alomst non-existent.
AEF does provide some unique themes. Just make sure you look inside the box before you buy. |
