Hi,
Personally, I've almost not bought some of Dragon's earlier efforts, their
modern range, because of the paintings. It was only because of reviews I
read and the photos of the completed kit on the side that I took a chance.
Before I got married, I had over 500 box tops of aircraft and armor models
since they served as reference. However, the finger-paint style of some
companies made me toss them away immediately.
Being a 'large squirrel', I have stashed my prized nuts in large plastic
containers with the instructions and decals in zip-loc bags. The last is
from having a flood in the basement cause me to lose all the decals and
mildew growing on the surviving paper :-(
