Subject:  Modelling Accidents - My Recent CA Glue AdventureList thread.

 Date:  Jan 5, 2004
 From:  Paul A. Owen
I bought some of that super thin CA glue in the soft plastic squirt
bottle. I was watching TV and decided to open it and do some modelling.
This is the type of bottle were you have to cut off the tip. Holding it
tightly in my left hand I proceeded to cut off the tip with a pair of
wire cutters. I guess I was holding the bottle too hard because when I
cut through the tip the CA glue squirt out all over the place. I managed to:

1) Glue my fingers together of my right hand.
2) Glue the wire cutters to my right hand.
3) Permanently glue the wire cutters together.
4) Glue my nylon hiking pants to my polypropylene long underwear.

After extracting the pliers from my right hand I set them down on the
table, the pliers then glued themselves to the table.

I now had glue on my left hand, so I sat there for a while thinking
about this, I rested my head on my left hand, which then glued itself in
place.

I managed to clean all this up but the pliers are still glued together.

Has anyone else had similar accidents?

Paul.
