Greetings fellow modelers:
All these amusing stories asside we must remember the danger inheret at times in our hobby.... appart from the toxic element of oil based paints we have to realize the dangers that can we posed to us as well as to our loved ones at home.... I use alcohol to clean my brushes from water based paints... and a candle to join those horrible rubberband tracks... one word... whosh!!! I realized how close to danger I was in a day my young nephew came to visit and it ALMOST happened. CA is also very toxic if inhaled and can cause severe damage to lungs. The man who was the founder of Zap-it.... I believe DIED from exposure to the fumes. I also had a friend of my fathers who was an airplane modeler get very Ill from toxic shock due to CA
