A few years back I was sitting on the floor building a kit when the phone rang, I spun around and drove an x-acto in my foot. That left some huge puddles of blood an the floor and 4 stiches in my foot.

Also once I built a car kit for a girl friend. I went to shake a bottle of Tamiya pink and forgot to put the lid on the bottle. I not only covered my hair with pink paint but I also ruined to high end Gunze kits (Panther and Jagdpanther).

You may be able to fix your wire cutters with a bit of fire. Hold them with a pair pliers (outside the house) and apply a small flame to the glue. It should burn off quite quickly.

Greg.
